Barnes & Noble releases 'Best Books of 2010' list

Barnes & Noble, one of the world’s largest online and retail booksellers, released this morning its “Best Books of 2010” list, and, as you might imagine, you’d be hard pressed to find a better best-of list of books for the past year.

This year’s list names great books in four categories – fiction, nonfiction, kids and teen. Here are the Top 10 books in each category that made this year’s cut.

Fiction:
1. To the End of the Land by David Grossman
2. The Surrendered by Chang-rae Lee
3. The Wake of Forgiveness by Bruce Machart
4. Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
5. Great House by Nicole Krauss
6. Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart

Nonfiction:
