New John Grisham novel takes No. 1 spot on best-sellers list

It’s Sunday, so that means that it’s time for my weekly breakdown of this week’s Publishers Weekly Best-Seller List. According to the list, there are three new books at the top of the four major best-sellers lists this week.

"The Racketeer" by John Grisham replaced "The Panther" by Nelson DeMille as the No. 1 book on the hardcover fiction best-sellers list.

"My Kind of Christmas" by Robyn Carr replaced "The Drop" by Michael Connelly as the top book on the mass market paperback best-sellers list.

"Reflected in You" by Sylvia Day replaced “Fifty Shades of Grey” by E.L. James as the No. 1 book on the trade paperbacks best-sellers list.

"Killing Kennedy" by Bill O'Reilly remained the top book on the hardcover nonfiction best-sellers list for the fourth week in a row.

There are four books on this week’s hardcover fiction best-sellers list that weren’t on that list last week. They (along with their place on the list) include "The Racketeer" by John Grisham (1), "Back to Blood" by Tom Wolfe (6), "Angels at the Table" by Debbie Macomber (8) and "The Bridge" by Karen Kingsbury (10).

They include "Rod: The Autobiography" by Rod Stewart (4), "Clients First" by Joseph Callaway (5), "Bouchon Bakery" by Thomas Keller (6), "Eat More of What You Love" by Marlene Koch (12), "Makeup to Breakup" by Peter Criss (13), "The Science of Good Cooking" by America's Test Kitchen (14) and "How Children Succeed" by Paul Tough (15).
